Ruoholahti, 2014

The Faro restaurant, which was opened in 2014, has a stunning location by the sea in the middle of the highly urban Ruoholahti area in Helsinki. The location on a canal provided excellent possibilities for a new kind of space utilisation. The original dining room was divided into four spaces, all of them with a view to the sea. We wanted the place to have a relaxed and warm atmosphere. We have been pleased to see that the restaurant with its easily accessible café and restaurant areas has soon found its role as a place where locals meet their friends and boaters stop by.
