Apart from the new cabin interiors, dSign has also designed the interiors of Finnair’s Schengen and non-Schengen lounges at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

The Finnair Premium lounge is located in the non-Schengen area in connection with the existing Finnair lounge. As in Finnair’s Airbus cabins, dSign’s SpaceAlive concept of a changing ambience has been utilised in the interiors of the shared lobby of Finnair’s lounges and in the Premium Lounge. The ambience, including the lighting, colours and wall patterns and the views of the “picture windows”, changes in accordance with the times of the day and the seasons.

The aim in the design has been to create a unified customer experience for the whole journey from the lounge to the destination.
